CPRA Board Represents the state’s position in policy relative to the protection, conservation, enhancement, and restoration of the coastal area of the state; Oversees the Coastal Protection and Restoration Trust Fund; Enforces compliance with Coastal Master Plan; and Develops a master plan for integrated coastal protection and an annual plan for integrated coastal protection for protecting, conserving, enhancing, and restoring the coastal area through the construction and management of integrated coastal protection projects and programs.

Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation: Beach Sweep 2019

Beach Sweep is the biggest community cleanup in Southeastern Louisiana. Last year they picked up 58,665 lbs. of trash from our streets, catch basins, and waterways around the basin. Let's come together to care for their neighborhoods and areas that drain the Pontchartrain Basin. Together we'll clean curbs, ditches, and storm drains on city streets and rural roadways.
