After seven years, the Congress has enacted the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) and final action on passing the conference report is expected to get it to the President for signing in the near future. Funding that is critical to Louisiana’s coastal restoration and vital hurricane protection projects are found in the measure, which the White House has indicated the President will veto. Coastal erosion will not wait another seven years and we urge you to let your voice be heard on this important matter by contacting the White House and urging that the President sign the bill into law. For immediate action go to www.paceonline.org and press the “Flood’Em Take Action” button or contact the White House directly by emailing: email@example.com. Thanks for your help in the fight to save America’s WETLAND.
