Mr. Bill and the Estuarians Begin Filming

By America's WETLAND Campaign Staff The highly anticipated America's WETLAND public service announcements (PSAs) that feature "Mr. Bill" of Saturday Night Live and introduce the nine Estuarians to the world at large, are one step closer to completion. Filming began recently on the ten, thirty-second spots that will bring the issue of Louisiana's coastal land loss to a youth audience nationwide. The first PSA will debut on the America's WETLAND website, www.americaswetland.com, in June, with others to follow one per month, beginning in September. A different Estuarian character, such as Shelly the starfish, Salty the shrimp or Delta the dolphin will be introduced in each monthly premier. Stay tuned for the debut of these fun and entertaining short films that will share the message of what Louisiana, the nation and the world will lose if America's WETLAND is allowed to disappear.
